Let us continue to praise the Lord for His ever remaining faithfulness and for His gracious provisions for the ministry of NEM in 2018 and His hand up on us in 2019.
It was a great and unprecedented period of learning patience and intimate fellowship with the Master as I had to physically rest after I broke my left leg hit by a motorbike driven by a young man, was in hospital for one week for an operation to implant a plate and then bed rest for two weeks. Then on I traveled to Kerala, India to be with my family and visiting children families. Though I was scheduled to return on Feb 28, it has been delayed by the sudden sickness of my father in law who is 95 and now hope to return on April 11. Thank the Lord that our board members have held the fort for me in Kathmandu and I was able to be in touch with them as well as our missionaries.
Most of our missionaries are experiencing protection and continue to thrust forward in mission with grace and boldness. Most of them have struggle to fund their children's education specially as the new school year starts in March-April. Some had to go through sickness and social pressures but the Lord has led them through triumphantly. Praise the Lord and thank you for your prayers.
The refresher courses and pastoral visits have been affected in the last two months with my absence. Tried to team up some of our board members to engage for the same but they have been busy. Pray that plans to have some sessions in April and may will work out. These refreshers and visits are key to encourage our missionaries and chalk out growth and expansion. The partnering churches have been very cooperative and are on fire to move forward.
We are really grateful to all our partners in mission who sacrificially support our efforts- churches, individuals, family members and mission organizations. Your prayers and support make us stand firm and look forward.
