in the Indian state of Jammu-Kashmir, the ministry
was begun. Over the 47 years, Kashmir Evangelical
Fellowship / Himalaya Evangelical Mission has grown
into a large ministry including Church planting,
Missionary training, Schooling, Relief work, and
much more.

Testimony of a Minister: My name is Sailesh Pradhan. I was born in a Hindu family. At the age of seven, my father died. Because of this it was very difficult for me to get any kind of education. So at the age of twelve, my mother decided to make me a Hindu sage. (A sage is a respected Hindu leader). So I started my study of the Hindu religious books. At age nineteen, I began to practice Hinduism.
