JOY Academy was started to provide education to the "poorest of the poor". Suiside attacks on churches and minorities have created immense fear in this area of the world (city left out for security reasons). Because there are no schools for the poor, many enroll their children in Madrassahs, where they are given hard core radical Islamic teaching. JOY Academy provides an alternative opportunity to radical Islam, and a chance to meet Jesus.
